I have always wanted to learn how to code properly. Life up to this point had some other ideas! I finally have some time on my hands to get started and thought that it may be fun for all of us to learn something new together.

So, first things first I had to decide on what language I wanted to focus. After a quick google search java seemed like the logical choice. I have always enjoyed creating websites and I think it is time to take it further and build something from the ground up.  Lucky for me we live in the 21st century and there are several affordable online courses to buy. I learn by doing, it was important to me to build something useful by the end of the course. While the customary Hello world! Is great to learn basic syntax, I doubt that it is going to make you a great coder!

 After reading some reviews and suggestions from friends I settled on Udemy The Complete JavaScript Course 2021: From Zero to Expert! Now, I know, I am going to see a whole lot of comments on why I should have started with another language.
